This Weeks Craft: Flowerpot chairs (and I'm Back!)

Lol, That wasn't a very long break! Also, I realized I didnt do the craft I promised to do!

anyways. Flowerpot Chairs.

What you need:
flowerpot (those smallish terecotta ones)
Fabric, Stuffing, and a sewing machine/needle and thread
OR
a beanbag toss-sized beanbag, and a colorful wash cloth


There are 3 ways to do this.

Method 1:

Step 1) Put the mini beanbag inside the flowerpot
Step 2) cover the bean bag with the washcloth
DONE

Method 2:

Step 1) Turn the flowerpot upside-down.
Step 2) Drape the washcloth over it.
DONE

Method 3 (probably the hardest method):

Step 1) Sew a bean bag on three sides
Step 2) stuff it
Step 3) Sew the last side
Step 4) Put the beanbag inside the flowerpot
Step 5) Optional: If you don't like the fabric you used to make the beanbag, cover it with the washcloth.
DONE

Some Sad news

After next weeks craft (flowerpot chairs) and maybe the week after (hopefully Capri sun pouches) I will be taking a break from this blog. I just don't have the time or materials right now to make crafts for the blog. I might post occasionally, but don't expect every week. Of course i'll be coming back and doing my weekly craft after a while, it's just a break.

This Week: Fast and Easy table!

On my poll, people voted that they wanted the fast and easy table the most, so that's what this post is about.

What you need:

1. Tile
2. empty can
3. (optional) a mini tablecloth


Step 1)  Take your can and put it on the floor.
Step 2) Center the tile on top.
Step 3) If your using a table cloth put it on your table.
Step 4) if you don't have chairs you can use flowerpots

This Weeks craft: Update

This weeks craft is mini Capri sun pouches. I will be posting it hopefully Saturday. If not, I will have to post a simpler one like a table. Also I was reading and found this awesome youtube video on a chair for dolls. I have to give credit to to the crafts for dolls blog, and My Froggy Stuff on youtube. This chair is sooooo cool!

This week's craft: Candy!

Pudding commented and said she wanted to learn to make candy. So here it is!
(Please note: if this isn't the type of candy you were hoping for, please comment and I'll see if i can make another kind)

Step 1. Go to google images and type in the type of candy bar you want. I'm going to use skittles for my example.           

                                                          At the top it has a bunch of links
                                                 (web, images, maps, news, shopping, gmail, more)
                                                 (Please Note: The newer version  has it n the side)
                                                           click images
Step 2. A bunch of pictures will show up. Click the one you like best.

Step 3. Click the picture, a page will pop up. Click see full image.


Step 4.  Save the picture ( if you plan on using Microsoft you will have to Copy the picture)

Step 4.  Using Paint- go to the top where it says "edit" way at the bottom it says " Paste from" click it. Your image will pop up. Adjust the size and print.
Using Morosoft office Word 2007- You should have copied the picture. in the corner it says Paste. Click it. Your image will pop up. Adjust the size and print
